THE VENUE

Where Else? is an independent music venue located in the heart of Margate, Kent. We host live music events featuring emerging and established artists across all genres.

ACCESSIBILITY

All of us at Where Else?, welcome those who may require accessibility assistance and will do our best to ensure the best possible service for all customers.

For access to our ground floor events there is one raised step upon entrance to the ground floor of our building and a wheelchair accessible ramp access is located via our side door entrance. There is level access to our bar, record store and upstairs stage once inside.

Unfortunately, there is no step free access downstairs to our live venue room. There are 19 steps down to our basement and then level access right through to our live room once down there.

If you do require assistance, please email [email protected] stating your expected time of arrival and we'll ensure entry is as smooth as possible.

If you are unable to stand for long periods, we will be able to provide seating in a suitable position with a safe view of the stage. Please let us know ahead of your arrival via email at [email protected] and we'll make sure that we are prepared.

Assistance dogs may be allowed into the venue depending on the type of event.

PA / COMPANION TICKETS

We are happy to offer a +1 ticket to customers requiring assistance in order to attend the event. If you require a PA ticket please purchase your own ticket and then apply for a PA ticket by emailing [email protected] with the relevant details at your earliest convenience. We are unable to offer a +1 for shows that are sold out.

TRAVEL

The nearest station is Margate Train Station which provides step free access and is a 7 minute walk from the venue.

Nearby bus stops are a minute away and serve the Loop, 8, 8x, 32, 34 and others.

Nearby taxi offices (United Cars and Central Cars) are a two minute walk from the venue.

Unfortunately Where Else? currently does not have wheelchair accessible toilets.
